MONTAGE PALMETTO BLUFF
For a long time now I've had a fascination for the south.
Something about the old plantation homes seated handsomely
among their acres and acres that look like they've been forgotten in time
bring with them an aura that I have yet to find in the North.
If you ask me how many times I've seen Gone With the Wind,
I'll tell you I've lost track. So, when opportunity called for a visit to
Montage Palmetto Bluff in South Carolina, there was no turning back.
Read on for a tour in photos of the property & should you love to visit yourself,
the property has offered my followers a complimentary third night's stay with code ABBYM when you make your reservation. Enjoy! xx Abby
BIKING THROUGH THE SOUTHERN OAKS
This tree-lined pathway was the stuff of dreams!
I took a map and went on my way, filling my bicycle
(available for you to use on the property when you get there!)
with all the Spanish moss, gardenia blooms, and magnolia leaves I could find.
RELAX WITH A VISIT TO THE POOL & SPA
Striped pool chairs and a view like this? Count me in.
Inside at the spa, I took some time to relax and had a facial
(for those of you who watched my IG stories, YES, my very first one.)
What I loved? The white tile everywhere and the southern palms
that brought the nature outdoors inside. I was forever
picking little blooms along the way. Love a gorgeous bathroom almost as much as the soa? The bathrooms at Montage Palmetto Bluff
were another tranquil place to wind down after a day in the sun.
EXPLORING THE HISTORIC MAY RIVER
Around the Montage Palmetto Bluff property sat the May River. Whether you explore one of the multiple-story tree houses to see the palms,
boat into town for dinner, or just take a leisurely ride on the
hotel's historic yacht "Grace," you'll be captured by Palmetto Bluff's surroundings.
